Crowns

Crowns, sometimes called caps, are made to completely replace the part of the tooth that is above the gums when there is not enough tooth structure to hold a more conservative restoration like a filling. These permanently fixed teeth make a real difference in the health and function of the mouth. Crowns can be fixed to the remaining part of the natural tooth or to an implant if the natural tooth is completely gone.
